TSX Venture Exchange

Previously known as the Canadian Venture Exchange (CDNX), this stock market was purchased by the TSX Group in 2001.

Unlike the TSX proper, which deals mostly in senior equities, the Venture Exchange serves as a public venture capital marketplace for small and emerging companies, which do not yet meed the qualifications for listing on the TSX.
